Protection of your privacy and personal data is an important matter to which we pay due attention. We respect the confidentiality of your personal data and always act in accordance with data protection laws and this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of the Privacy Policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about how Just See Rent OÜ (hereinafter "Just See Rent") uses personal data, what information about users is collected through the Just See Rent websites, web applications, and mobile platforms (web services), and how these are analyzed, used, shared with third parties, or otherwise processed. This Privacy Policy applies to Just See Rent. It does not extend to the usual web services of companies that are governed by their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to web services operated by third parties.

2. Data Collection

2.1. Personal Data Provided

In general, it is not necessary to provide personal data (such as your name, postal address, or email address) to use our web services. If, however, the collection of personal data is necessary, it is carried out voluntarily as far as possible. For example, if you wish to receive a newsletter from our website, we will ask for your email address and other information that helps us verify that you are the owner of that email address.

2.2. Automatically Collected Information

To ensure data security and improve user experience, we also collect non-personal information during the use of our web services. For example, we may store data about the web browser you use, the operating system, and the domain name of the site you visited immediately before arriving at our website; as well as information on how many times you have visited our site, how much time you spend on average on our pages, and which subpages you have viewed. This automatically collected data is not associated with data from other sources. However, we reserve the right to review this data at a later time.

2.3. Web Usage Analysis

To continually optimize functionality and maximize user-friendliness, some of our web services use various web analytics services and social media plugins. The data used for such purposes is always non-personal. The standard privacy policy does not apply to web services operated by third parties. These services include, among others: Google Analytics (for more information on terms of use and privacy policy, visit www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or https://www.google.com/policies/), Facebook plugins (i.e., the “Share” button), YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

3. Use of Personal Data

The data you provide will be used solely for specific purposes.

These purposes include:

  • Providing, improving, and supporting our web services. This includes analyzing data, identifying usage trends, calculating usage patterns, and generating statistics.

  • Marketing. Your personal data will only be used for marketing purposes—such as reviews and promotional campaigns—if you have given consent. In such cases, your data will be retained for one year unless its longer retention is permitted by law for other reasons. You may withdraw your consent to use your personal data for marketing purposes at any time. For more information, see Section 5.

  • Sending newsletters. If you fill out the form to subscribe to our newsletter, the data you enter will be used only to verify that you own the email address provided and that you wish to receive the newsletter, for maintaining the mailing list, and for analyzing newsletter usage. In such cases, your data will be retained for one year after the end of your subscription, unless its longer retention is permitted by law for other reasons. Your data will only be used for other purposes if you have consented to such use.

  • Ordering reports or other informational materials. If you order reports or other information from us, the personal data you provide will only be used to process your order, after which it will be stored for a maximum of one year. We may use third-party services to fulfill your orders, to whom we will transfer your data solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We will only use your personal data for other purposes if you have given your consent.

  • Contact form usage. If you use the contact form to submit an inquiry, the data you provide, including your contact details, will be used to process your inquiry and stored for further use if follow-up is required. If necessary to address your request, we may share your personal data with relevant third parties. Your personal data will be retained as long as necessary to process the request and for a maximum of one year unless its longer retention is permitted by law for other reasons.

4. Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data

Depending on the type of activity you request (such as a callback, order placement, requesting services or information, etc.), we may share your data with third parties involved in fulfilling the order (e.g., mail-order companies, etc.). We may also be required to disclose personal data in connection with legal obligations, legal rights, or contractual obligations.

  • Transfer of data to third parties: We collaborate with external service providers for fulfilling certain orders and providing certain services. These service providers are permitted to use or transfer the data we collect and process only for the purpose of fulfilling standard orders.

  • Compliance with laws and similar obligations: We will disclose your personal data in order to:

    • comply with and fulfill laws, requirements, official regulations, or mandatory measures;

    • identify and prevent security risks, fraud, and other malicious activities;

    • protect and/or exercise the rights and property of Standard or third parties;

    • safeguard the rights and security of our employees and third parties.

5. Right to Information, Withdrawal, and Deletion of Personal Data

You have the right to request written information about the personal data we have stored about you. You also have the right to request the correction, deletion, anonymization, or restriction of processing of your personal data and to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. If you wish to withdraw your consent to the storage or use of your data, you may do so by sending an email with a request to info@justseerent.ee.

6. Data Security

Just See Rent employs a wide range of data security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data. However, given the architecture of the Internet, please note that when transmitting data over the Internet (e.g., via email), security gaps may exist, and it is not possible to guarantee absolute protection from third-party access.
